5 Reasons Why You Should Go Skydiving At Least Once In Your Lifetime

We know - You're on a skydiving website reading about why you should go skydiving, seems a little bias doesn't it?

Give us a quick chance (or 5 quick chances) and you'll be just as excited to experience the sky as we are!

1. The feeling

From the moment you book your skydive "the feeling" sets in.  You've committed, you're nervous and excited all the same time.  Then the day comes and you're driving, you know what you're about to do and you still can't believe it.  You pull in, park and check in at the window.  It's getting real.  You go through a short training lesson of what to expect and then you suit up and meet your (handsome) Tandem Instructor to head to the airplane.  Everything is happening now, and you can't wipe the smile off your face.  Now you're floating, flying, enjoying, landing.  Back on the ground and it all catches up to you, you've done it, you can do anything, what's next?

2. The rush

Not that roller coaster-drop rush, that doesn't actually happen.  It's more like floating, one moment you're floating inside an airplane, the next moment you're floating outside the airplane and you're free.  The rush of being free, free as a bird, at over 10,000 feet in the air.  Sure there's a build up of anticipation before you jump, but that's part of the experience.

3. The view

From this high in the air you can see everything and anything and in the case of AerOhio, if you know where to look, you can see the sun glistening off the towers of Cleveland with Lake Erie as a backdrop.  Let your instructor know you want to enjoy the sights and he can slow your canopy ride down and point out some of the great views.

4. The once-in-a-lifetime video and photos.

You can never get back that first-time-jumping-out-of-a-plane-surprised-look.  Trust us, the pictures and video are worth getting.  You never know just how ugly you can become until your face is being pushed back by 100 mph winds. It's hilariously awesome!  In the end, you'll even end up with some photos that you can show off to all of your friends!

5. The stories

This is one of those times where you never know what might happen (other than the whole jumping out of an airplane thing) Maybe you come up alone because your friends are not as adventurous as you and you meet new besties!  Maybe your current friends do join you and one or all of you is inspired after your skydive and instead of heading straight home you embark on an epic road trip....

The important part here is that you have to start the story.  Book your skydive today!
